外籍人士在台購屋

台灣房屋首席總經理彭培業指出，外籍人士能否在台購買不動產？首先要看國與國的平等互惠原則，這最基本的構成要件。例如：越南政府規定外國人不能私人擁有不動產(外國人只能擁有50 年的土地租期使用權)，那越南人來台也同樣無法購置不動產。

其次，外國人在國內的薪資收入證明或資產證明，成為銀行審核房貸的最關鍵因素，若沒有資產也沒有薪資證明，銀行多半不願意貸款；若有薪資銀行貸款意願較高。另外，外國人購買本國不動產，在過戶階段多了一道手續，需由地政單位通報主管機關，國人一般過戶約三天時間，但外國人購買房子卻要多一到二的星期的作業時間，但如果外國人買房子，配偶是台灣人，通常會登記在台灣配偶名下，只要檢附財力證明，這樣可以省了很多手續不便的地方。置於貸款的部分，以台灣銀行為例，未取得我國外僑居留證之外國自然人（含華僑）及未在我國設立登記取得證照之外國法人，可借貸，但還款年限為七年。

台灣房屋首席總經理彭培業表示，外籍人士不論是來自哪個國家，離開自己熟悉的故鄉來到陌生的環境，一定會有許多難題要克服，其中「居住問題」便是首要難關。外籍人士在購屋或租屋時所關注的條件與台灣人差異不大，還是注重房價（租金）、生活機能、通勤時間、社區安全等因素，只是不同國籍的人士生活方式上還是有些不同，例如日本人偏好個人小宅，對個人隱私與環境清潔非常講究；歐美國籍的人士則喜歡較為開放的空間，或者與朋友同租一層公寓，共用廚房或客廳。

另外，彭培業提醒國人，全球化的今天，台灣民眾面對外籍的人士應該以禮相待，不論來自哪個國家，我們都應該注重國民禮儀外交，如果您的鄰居有外籍人士，應該以對待自家人的規格互相尊重，才能讓外籍人士安心地根留台灣，擁抱台灣文化與融入台灣的生活，進而拉近台灣與國際間的距離。

Today is a nice day with nice weather. I'm not working for this week, so it's pretty relaxing :). I took a walk in the morning, to help send package to post office. The rest of the day I spent by watching movie, cleaning the house, and calling my mom to discuss things.

Ah.. it's good to write again. I just bought a new book by 劉墉, titled "超強說話術". It's a book that shares tips to communicate. I'm very interested in communication book nowadays, I felt like my speaking ability has downgraded. Hope this book can help me.

My mood is often scrambled lately. I don't know if I'm happy or not with my life right now. I can only say that I'm still not satisfied with everything in my life. When I see photos of my friends who are still studying, I feel like being a student again. When I see photos of friends traveling around, I feel like traveling around, too! That's what I had always been dreaming about doing. I like to study, I like to see things. I know I should be able to do them, but it seems like I also have so many reasons that postpone me to do them.

回想近幾天發生的事情，今天讀了一些王文華的文章以及他的書的介紹，其中一篇是關於＂正妹＂（文章）．很有意思．．文章的結論是＂要有內涵＂．

晚上也看了一集小燕姊的談話節目，來賓是　劉墉　以及　劉軒．劉庸是一位很有明的畫家；劉軒則是一位DJ．他們父子非常的有趣，此次的訪談看了很溫馨，聊的是他們的生活方式以及家庭關係．我很羨慕劉墉的一個理念，就是要勇敢踏出去才有機會到另一端．類似這種話，我記不起來正確的詞．他的確不是說說而已，聽了他的人生故事，他真的有做他說說的話．聽到他年輕時多麼的努力過，給我這個年輕人很大的鼓勵．我現在的生活還蠻平靜，好像少了一種動力，也還未規劃未來．除此之外我也很羨慕劉墉的東方理念，劉墉不斷的教導他的孩子們中文，中國文化．

前天是中國情人節，我和他去竹北吃原燒．討厭的是下班時有下點雨．還好我們有提早定位子，不然啊餐廳都滿滿滿．我們有點早去，不過剛好有位子，服務生也讓我們提早入座．吃的很開心，我們兩個從頭笑到底．我們兩個一邊聊一邊烤一邊虧對方．那天的肉也很好吃．吃的很飽很滿意．

他總是說我很像小孩子。
過沒多久他又送了我一個包包，我正想要買，早知道我吵著要iPhone好了，搞不好他會送我iPhone，呵！看到禮物我很懷疑他什麼時候買，因為我無時無刻都在他身邊，他既然還可以找時間買禮物，且他上禮拜還在生病，所以我覺得非常非常感動。我很喜歡他選給我的包。
其實我真的不希望他送我東西，因為我覺得他為我做的太多太多了，那些已經讓我非常的幸福。
我生病的時候他都照顧我；我沒梳子梳頭，他讓我用他的手指梳；我常常心情不好時突然大哭，他就靜靜的陪我讓我在他肩膀上哭，還有很多事情讓我覺得他真的為我做太多了。在他身邊我覺得很安全，很安心，他對我很體貼，我覺得我反而很不體貼，每次都莫名其妙亂想一堆。

我們才認識一年，也才在一起一年，我們幾乎每天會討論當初認識的那一刻，然後不久在一起。一切發生的很突然，但是我們的選擇是對的，我現在覺得很幸福。

另一個讓我想念的人是盛安。
他是我的同學，我們從以前還蠻合得來，收到他的祝賀突然懷念以前讀書的時候。
我希望他可以趕快畢業，很開心他終於找到適合他的路，他現在很成功。

Finally, I do jogging. Got a little bit disappointed today, I wanted to spit out my anger, so I jogged. My mind was all blank when jogging, but it really helped me focusing on nothing so I kept running and running. I ran 4 rounds and walk 1 round. My mood has turned a bit better now.

Have to do warming up next time I run though.

Efektif Mei 15, Kompas akan menurunkan Koki dari website mereka. Gw shock dari lubuk hati terdalam dan sedih banget. Aku udah baca Koki dari kapan yah.. sejak lahirnya ngga lama deh. Tiba2 aja keliatan link Koki, saya masih ingat waktu itu Koki belum bernama Koki, masih gabung di rubrik kesehatan Kompas. Waktu itu artikel Koki banyak yg tentang masalah rumah tangga. Lama2 sharingnya makin bervariasi dan semuanya menarik. (ps. kontributor artikel adalah publik)

Sempat satu periode, gw simply can't live without Koki. Menantikan cerita2 baru, refresh terus nunggu artikel2 baru yg seru2. Penulis favorit saya di Koki adalah Harry Lukman yg suka mengupas cerita tentang Amrik dan politik. Selain itu rata2 semua artikel yg lain oleh penulis lain juga gw suka banget deh. Karna rata2 cerita tentang kehidupan sehari2 sang penulis. Banyak cerita tentang pengalaman di luar negeri. Membaca cerita2 mereka, saya menjadi sangat2 tertarik, dan itu membuka wawasan saya.

Terus terang gw seddiiih kenapa sih semua mesti migrate ke Kompasiana?!!! Kompasiana itu layoutnya udah gelap.. berat banget... selain itu klasifikasinya gw ga suka banget, yg mana berdasarkan penulis. Gw bnr2 prefer Koki yg sekarang, walaupun yg tugas jadi moderator (yaitu Zeverina) has to work hard to sort good articles out, tapi benar2 artikel yg uda terfilter itu yang membuat saya sebagai pembaca puas! Selain itu artikel2 juga uda disort berdasarkan topic. Jadi, mo cari juga gampang. Kalau tiba2 ingin membaca ttg keadaan terbaru dunia, tinggal ke Kokiworld, ttg keadaan baru dlm negeri, tinggal ke Koki Negeriku. Gampang!

Kompasiana contains too much trash! Terlalu banyak org2 politik yg ngga penting di sana! Seleb juga.. ngga ada bobotnya deh. Bosen!!!

I was having company trip to Seoul last week Friday to Monday (Oct 24-Oct 27). It was fun! Fun coz I can get to know other colleagues better. I just know that there are also fun guys in my company. Nice! We can't stop chatting in the office now.

We were guided by Cola Tour, and our tour guide in Seoul was Mina. She's cute little middle-aged woman but still very active. She taught us several Korean words and it's very easy to memorize in her way. Very funny.

First two nights, we stayed at an European style hotel (or motel? unsure) at the suburbs. So, it's kinda quiet there. It only got a 7ELEVEn and several bars and teppanyaki restaurants around. But never mind, coz we always got home late at night, we also don't have too much time enjoying around.

It had been dark when we arrived at Incheon airport, plus the long and slow immigration line.. wew.. exhausted. As soon as everybody finished the immigration and baggage, we were going to eat ginseng chicken soup. Delicous leh.. i really like it. I like the rice fillings inside the chicken. And the chicken is very delicate. And the ginseng wine that was added into the soup. Uugh.. wanna have one again. We got to our hotel by then.

The weather in Seoul is damn cold now. It's already like winter in Taiwan. In this autumn days, Taiwan is still hot like summer, man! Second days, the weather is dropping again. We're going to 大長今 shooting place and Everland park today. I don't like 大長今, coz I never watched the serial before, so I don't have any special interest with that place. But Everland is great! The atmosphere is very fun and high. The park had been decorated with Halloween theme, so much fun. I would highly recommend the floral park in Everland, coz it's very cozy and lovely there.

Third day was the day that we started feeling like being in Korea. We visited 華城, 景福宮, and 仁溪川, very beautiful. And! We get a chance to experience the making of 泡菜 (Korean salted vegetables) and also the korean dress!! The korean dress is so elegant i think.. hehe

Fourth day was the shopping day. We were brought to Korean official Ginseng store, 水晶店, snack store, EWHA, and cosmetic shop. Then we flew back to Taiwan.

My impression on Korea (esp. Seoul):
1. Beau... what can I say except that.. esp that I went there in autumn when leaves are yellowish and reddish.. and the atmosphere is foggy.. so romantic!!
2. I like Korean style; clean, sleek, trendy, unique.
I think Korean ppl should stop the cosmetic surgery culture. They should start loving themselves. They're cool.
Korean men wear suits; that makes them very sleek, and even though suit is a formal clothes they can mix 'n match it into a very stylish piece.
3. Black square glasses frame. I don't see any frames other than that~ It's cool, though.
4. Express yourself anytime and anywhere. You can see girls dancing around on the road while listening to MP3, and also there's one of the waiter at Everland who danced so high while operating the ferris wheel. He's more interesting to watch than the ferris wheel. :)
5. Gothic church everywhere. They're all very catchy. You can see a lot of churches roof between buildings.
6. Sorry but for a foreigner like me, I heard the Korean talks like having a mouthwash.. hehe..

I really want to go there again, on my own of course.

Some interesting gets from watching Salman Rushdie talk @Google:

- In about 1968, Afghanistan's king is not rich, therefore his palace is opened as a hotel.. everybody can live there! Cool yea? :)

- I really appreciate Rushdie's opinion that him writing a book doesn't intend to tell a reader to think the way he thinks, but instead offers a lot of scenes to let the reader thinks by himself.

Actually this is what makes my mind keeps quarelling when I read a book.

Typhoon-y moon festival post

I guess it's the first time I experience moon festival in such a big typhoon day. The typhoon Sinlaku is extremely big, I should say, the most extreme typhoon I've experienced for this last 5 years in Taiwan. My house's windows' kept on shaking noisily. It scared me sometimes, I'm afraid it would break. Good that the weather outside seems to have calmed down.

I wonder if it's because it's in Hsinchu, a wind city, plus a typhoon makes the wind even bigger. Yeah... might be.

Just finished watching ANTM cycle 11 on youtube, thanks my sis for reminding me. Gosh, I've passed 3 episodes and I finished them all at once.

I love Dy... especially I just met him again in HK a week ago. I already missed him right now.. I chat with him almost everyday ever since we are back from HK trip. I'm afraid he'll get lonely for he has been alone now at home, I'll always be there for him... I always find him a good boy, caring and responsible. He's always my dear little brother.

I've also finished "Girls of Riyadh". I think I have to write a page of comments on the book since I quite like it. I love it for it offers different stories, not American or Britain ones, but the Arabian ones. On one of the commentaries, it says that the book is the "Sex of City of Arab world". And I totally agree with it. Well, it doesn't offer sex stories, of course, it's more of boys-girls relationship in Arab world. Loads of books still waiting to be read on my book rack. Hmm Hmm..

My book rack is soo.. global. I've got Girls of Riyadh (Arab-ish), Bangkok Haunts, Miss Chopsticks (Oriental-ish), French Women Don't Get Fat (French-ish). I don't intend to select those books to have a global feeling, just that I read their sneak peeks and feel interested in their stories.

I have to say that I start to fall in love w/ Coldplay's Livin La Vida... Have to say sorry to my friend, Chinho, for have complaint 'bout the song earlier when it has just come out.

I am an analyzer towards my surroundings. Whenever I met new ppl, I'll analyze their behaviour. I will only talk to ppl that I feel comfortable with, and I dislike cockish person a lot! Damn they! I mean those people that only pretend to be good towards me to know more about me in order to make other people sensing them close to me. Just stay away.

I've got in touch w/ Down syndrome topic quite a lot recently. I had bought "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" book, but I still have the last chapter unread. So, the book is talking about a doctor having a daughter with down syndrome and sent her out as soon as being labored. Then I also got to watch a series of news about the mental clinic in Serbia on NBC channel. It touches me a lot, those stories. The mental clinic in Serbia is totally out of standard. The down syndrome-ers are treated very badly. And then the latest is the news about Republican's VP-to-be, Sarah Palin's last child is born w/ down syndrome.

So those all makes me very aware of this topics. I'm so curious right now. I was very avoiding such topic before. And yes, I'm very afraid of this topic before. That's why reading "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" makes me kinda uneasy, too, at first and until now, that I don't have the courage to finish it immediately. I was thinking it's kinda shameful and difficult to raise such a kid, too, at first. I have to said watching the series in NBC channel kinda changes my perception, I'm a little bit accepting now. It makes me sad watching the down-ers treated so badly. They're human, too. Especially when they're still a baby, they ARE a baby, who need care from their mom, who also need family and parents to raise them up, teach them things. But in Serbia they're instead sent to a mental clinic, being tied up, some even tied up to death. I think no matter what they're also human, they have feelings. We should help them.

Today is my birthday also my twin-aunt-and-uncle's, and I just find out a friend who has the same birth day with me, Dewi.

Yay for the (typhoon) holiday present... and I think 上天 just don't want me to get fatter during today's holiday.. I failed to order foods several times... nvm... I'm still doing good.

Talked with several j&s high school friends that I dearly miss.

Can't wait for next weekend again.. which is 4 more days.. to meet with my beloved....

中國強阿!! Congrats to China for being champion!! China is simply so strong (why can they be so strong in every fields????). They've been successful to keep this title for 6 consecutive years (3 times). The Thomas cup final between China and S.Korea is tough, man! 4 sets! My heart bumped so hard... I stands at China side... But if only Indonesia can continue to the final (Indonesia fails to Korea in semifinal.. hiks), of course I'll run for Indonesia!!!

If only it's Indonesia who stands on the champion podium..*wonderin* Indonesia actually has the chance for that ^^ Indonesia gets the runner-up for Uber cup, yay. We can see there're several rising newcomers in Indonesia badminton such as Markis Kido+partner and his sister.... Indonesia's getting stronger.... that's very good!!
Can't wait for 2010 Championship in Malaysia...... Wait for Indonesia!! We're gonna be champion again!! We'll be rockin' in Malaysia....

Korea's badmin team is becoming stronger and stronger.. phiuhh.... we shouldn't look down on them anymore!!

and Tibetan protestors, Beijing and the exiled (離鄉背井) Tibetan spiritual
leader, the Dalai Lama, appear to be subtly (敏銳地) acknowledging the extent
to which they need each other. But you have to read past the pungent (敏銳的)
rhetoric (辭令) to see that.

China's Prime Minister Wen Jiabao on Tuesday lashed out at the Dalai Lama,
blaming the exiled Tibetan leader for the confrontations of the past week.
The events that have rocked Tibet and Tibetan communities all over the
region, Wen charged, had been "masterminded and incited (激勵) by the Dalai
Lama clique (黨派)."

The Dalai Lama insisted that the uprising in Tibet was a spontaneous reaction
to Beijing's unyielding refusal to hear Tibetan grievances, and its adoption
of a policy that the spiritual leader branded "cultural genocide."

Not much room for a meeting of minds, then. Or is there?

Even as he lambasted (粗暴地罵) the exiled Tibetan leader, Wen added, "We
have repeatedly stated that [if] the Dalai Lama gives up his independence
position, recognizes Tibet as an inseparable part of China's sovereign (主權國
家) territory and recognizes Taiwan as an inseparable part of China's
sovereign territory, [then] our door is open to him for talks ... But the
recent events exactly prove he is hypocritical (偽善的) on these two key
issues. Even so, I want to reiterate that we still keep our word. Now what is
key to this is his action."

But the Dalai Lama continues to speak out against the goal of independence as
unrealistic — much to the chagrin (懊惱) of an increasingly militant younger
generation of Tibetans — and has called instead for "genuine" autonomy for
Tibet. The Dalai Lama continues to reiterate his firm commitment to policies
that have been rejected by many younger Tibetan activists as ineffectual. On
Tuesday, he reaffirmed his preference for dialogue and coexistence with the
Chinese, threatening to resign his political leadership role if the
confrontation with Beijing continued, and urging restraint among Tibetan
activists aiming to confront the Chinese. Clearly, the Dalai Lama is
concerned that confronting a far stronger rival — one whose centrality to
the global economy makes it an indispensable partner to the world's most
powerful nations — can only result in defeat, and ruin any prospect of a
consensual coexistence between Beijing and a relatively autonomous Tibet.

Beijing and the Dalai Lama are a long way from productive dialogue right now,
of course, and each side sees reason to mistrust the other. Chinese leaders
view the Tibet rebellion as having been stoked by the exiled Tibetan
leadership in order to embarrass Beijing on the eve of its Olympic coming-out
party, hoping to internationalize their quest for independence in the way
that the Kosovar Albanians have — an outcome China will resist at any cost.
The activists may be hoping to provoke an international boycott of the
Beijing Olympics as a way of forcing China to deal with their demands,
although such a boycott remains extremely unlikely, with most Western
governments having moved quickly to squelch (壓扁) any suggestion that they
might stay away from the Games. China's centrality to the world economy today
has given it the equivalent of great-power status, meaning that even when
others criticize its human rights abuses, there is too much else riding on
their relationship to allow it to be disrupted by such concerns.

The exiled Tibetan leadership, for its part, fears that the dialogue started
in 2002 between the Chinese authorities and representatives of the Dalai Lama
has never been treated seriously by Beijing, and that it may simply be a ruse
(策略) to run out the clock on the political career of the 73-year-old
spiritual leader. All the while, China has sought to transform Tibet through
massive investment in its economic development, hoping that Colonel Sanders,
and the consumer culture he represents, will prove a more alluring icon than
the Dalai Lama to younger Tibetans. This, and the mass migration of Han
Chinese into Tibet, threatens the viability of Tibet's traditional way of
life, which is what prompts the Dalai Lama's accusation of "cultural
genocide."

Still, both sides may have an incentive to find a bridge over the gulf that
separates them. In the short term, Beijing sees the Olympics as its symbolic
entry onto the world stage, and is wary of any developments that could mar (毀
損) its triumph. In the longer term, Beijing needs to contain and manage
those centrifugal forces that threaten to break off any part of China. Those
concerns, as well as an overall desire to maintain social stability as
growing inflation raises the specter of economic turbulence, weigh heavily
against the Chinese leadership opting for the sort of brutal crackdown that
ended the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. The enraged citizenry of Western
nations would likely make their own governments' support for the Olympics
untenable (難以防守的) if China's streets were drenched in blood.

Whether Beijing is prepared to recognize it at this stage or not, the Dalai
Lama may represent its best hope of stabilizing Tibet without a bloodbath —
persuading those Tibetans now tilting at the Chinese presence in their midst
to voluntarily stand down. And, perhaps sensing that more militant Tibetans
are embarking on a no-win path of confrontation, the Dalai Lama is, in fact,
moving to restrain them. Threatening to resign his political post if the
confrontations persist, he told his followers that "violence is against human
nature." Clearly troubled by the images of Tibetans in Lhasa responding to
the police crackdown by attacking ordinary Chinese residents of the city and
their businesses, he added, "We must not develop anti-Chinese feelings.
Whether we like it or not we have to live side by side."

Despite their deep differences, then, Beijing and the Dalai Lama share a
preference for resolving the current conflict peacefully, on the basis of
Tibet remaining part of China — albeit with sharply different ideas on the
extent of its autonomy. The problem for both sides is that the longer the
confrontation persists, the slimmer the chance of effecting such a solution.

I was reading an economist.com's article that makes me so aggressive about
Indonesia. The article was talking about the stagnant economic growth in
southeast asia. I get to know that it's mainly that our country don't have
our own world class brand, and that makes us less competitive with the other
shining countries of Asia, such as India, China, Taiwan, or South Korea. I
think about this sentence carefully and it seems like it's true. Our
economics is largely still operated by foreign companies. Most original
Indonesian business still play in a small case.

I'd really like to help build Indonesia company.. I just think Indonesia has
way a lot of potential to build!!! Everybody should just have a greater
ambition!

I'm not really satisfied with M$ taiwan's customer service, which I regard as
not professional.
You know, we often contact them recently regarding the new M$'s software we
are using for troubleshooting. I think they did several silly stuff, like:
* asking us to google our problem (wat?! google? i thought they would suggest
us to live search our problem instead?!)..and my boss was also surprised to
hear that! We can only shake our head.
* their response is totally slow, although i know maybe they have a lot of
other problems to handle, too. but.... even if they response to us, the
solutions they gave is totally not answering what we were asking.
My boss and I did write to them in English, and they response in Chinese,
then we write in Chinese and they gave us even worse reply #@%#$^%#&$%*. Hey!
Isn't those statements clear enough!
* their email writing is totally bad! I think each company should teach their
employees a good letter/email writing. It shows your respect to your
recipients, whoever they are. And I'm really disappointed for this happen to
a global company's employee.... and that their client is a taiwan's most
important company.. too bad

In the end, I solve all the problems by myself with my head and with the help
of MSDN search... not google/live search.

就是那位我一直說是帥哥的
其實他不是什麼大帥哥
不過他就是一位很nice的人很有禮貌這樣就是帥哥了 Haha..
雖然我們才認識大概兩個月但是談到他快要搬走了感覺好難過
我最常跟他聊天的他常常看到我在客廳看電視就會出來跟我聊天
那也是如果他沒有加班, 他還蠻常加班的, 不像我一直都準時下班

我每次都會覺得很開心跟他聊天下班後回家有人可以聊
有時候他會開一些(冷)笑話...哈哈..有點對不起他我時常很慢才曉得那是笑話
我真的很感謝他都會來陪我聊天
他的人也很好, 會關心我已經把我當妹妹了樣子
他有時會說他弟弟他姊姊他爸爸媽媽什麼什麼的感覺他們感情很好感覺他也很照顧弟弟
就是很有家的感覺那種

昨晚不知道為什麼跟他聊天很難過的感覺
他還提醒我出去還是要關窗因為怕危險尤其有新人剛搬進來 (我一直以來出去都沒關窗
因為不喜歡空氣不流通的感覺)
也說以後他搬走我就孤拎拎一個人沒有人跟我聊天了 T___T 不想他搬走耶~~~
還給了我一個宣傳單介紹一些新竹好玩的地方他大概怕我之後會很悶吧>__<

還記得我第一次跟他認識當時剛進入寒天而沒有熱水因為水壓太小大家忙著討論跟房
東反映當時我還忍得住洗冷水就不多跟他們一起討論說一些話而已
之後我正在曬衣服的時候遇到他他開始跟我聊天我不怎麼鳥他回話也一點點一開始想
說這個人尬麻一直跟陌生人聊天哈哈..
之後第二次他又跟我講話這時我才開始理他然後他一直問很多問題也一直說很好玩的
話感覺很開心
有幾次剛好一起要出門去上班聊了一下
之後我們就常常聊天了

TX and OH Primaries

I was so glad Hillary Clinton made two victories in TX and OH. I was praying
and praying for her, for she has to made these victories to stay in this
competition, since she's still behind Obama in the number of representative.
Phiuhh..finally. That means she still have a chance, there is still way long
competition to go. I'll still be hoping for her winning.

The US presidential election this time i think is more about the Democrats
competition, didn't you think so? The both delegates from Democrats are so
overexposed, so strong. These primaries and caucusses are majority about them
both. The competition between Republican delegates has ended with Mc Cain
being the most qualified one, but the competition in Democrats hasn't.

This election would benefit Democrats more as the governance of George Bush,
Jr., who is a Republican, is regarded very bad; the policy, the economics.
And Mc Cain should work hard to use the positive impact of Bush as good as he
can. And Mc Cain's program is predicted to be not far different from Bush's.

In Democrats, Hillary is still the best, I think. I hope the young and the
black voters see.... Obama is just selling dreamssss..... I think he should
go to church and be a pastor instead (sorry, but he really sounds like one).
He made great speeches that influence many people, but aren't people getting
bored of these all? If he just went back home and do some useful things
first, and return for the next election, that would be better.

Ah, I was so furious to read when one of Obama's spokesperson accused
Hillary's team for spreading the photo of Obama wearing Moslem headscarf.
What's so wrong about wearing Moslem headscarf?!! That's a really bad
response from Obama's spokesperson. Isn't he the one who will fight for the
black, and may be the Moslem? Then why is he discriminating Moslem? Why is he
keeping denying any connection with Islam as if it ashamed him? What's so
wrong about that?! I did think and I guess maybe US still can't accept Islam
representative.

mengenang mantan presiden Soeharto

H.M. Soeharto, Presiden ke-2 Indonesia, telah berpulang seminggu yang lalu. Semenjak beliau terbaring kritis di rumah sakit, pers selalu siap sedia mengikuti perkembangan kesehatannya, sampai akhirnya beliau berpulang dan dimakamkan. Berita beliau ada di mana2, dari media dalam negeri hingga media luar negeri, beliau adalah perhatian seluruh dunia. Dari hasil pengamatan saya, ketika beliau masih sakit2an, masih sedikit media luar negeri yg memberitakan, tetapi sampai ketika beliau meninggal, media seluruh dunia ramai memberitakan sebagai headlines, dan yang saya sedihkan, baik judul ataupun isi dari berita tersebut cenderung menjelek2an beliau. Padahal para reporter berita tersebut sendiri tak pernah mengalami ataupun mengerti pemerintahan beliau. Yah apa yg bisa dikata, wong rakyat Indonesia (terutama media di Indonesia) sendiri banyak yg menghujat beliau, jadi media luar hanya bisa menyalin, menyimpulkan sendiri dari berita yg mereka lihat.

Hati saya sedih banget waktu membaca artikel2 dan judul2 di berita2 semisal di TIME, yg sering saya baca, menuliskan "ex-presiden diktator Indonesia wafat", dll dsb. Kok orang yg sudah meninggal sedemikian dikenang. Saya mengakui saya masih kecil sewaktu kepemimpinan beliau, dan saya masih ngga paham tentang politik saat itu. Tapi yang saya rasakan selama beliau
memerintah adalah kesan damai, dalam arti keadaan ekonomi politik tenang, walaupun dari yg saya baca, ketenangan itu muncul karena "dipendam". Coba kita bandingkan sekarang, siapapun dimanapun asyik berkoar2 sana sini, asyik mendengungkan istilah reformasi, asyik menciptakan komisi penyelidik, halah halah...tapi sampai sekarang saya belum melihat sebuah hasil "reformasi" yang "optimal" sekalipun. Presiden sudah ganti 4 kali dalam kurun waktu ga sampai 10 tahun, dimana setiap Presiden menjabat hanya dalam jangka waktu yg pendek (Habibie, Gus Dur, Megawati, SBY). Bagaimana mungkin program2 pembaharuan bisa dilaksanakan dengan baik bila pemimpin kita terus berganti-ganti, belum aja program dimulai, pemimpin diganti, program mesti reschedule dan replanning lagi.

Menurut saya rakyat kita masih kabur untuk mengalami reformasi, kita masih kekurangan calon pemimpin untuk reformasi, kita membutuhkan pembuat keputusan. Kalau saya boleh memilih, saya lebih ingin dipimpin kembali oleh seorang "Soeharto" yang diktator daripada oleh pemimpin yang mementingkan partai politiknya sendiri, mementingkan dukungan2 politiknya. Program2 ga akan berjalan dengan lancar bila seorang pemimpin terus digoyah oleh sejuta
komentar dari orang2 di sekitarnya, justru seharusnya pemimpin itulah yg mesti membuat keputusan dan segera memerintahkan anak buahnya untuk melaksanakan. Coba sekarang, semua orang ingin membuat keputusan, semua orang ingin berpendapat, tak ada yg mau berkompromi di atas meja, pendapat siapa donk yg harus didengar, dan yang pasti tidak ada yg mampu memimpin.

Tentang segala KKN yg telah dilakukan beliau, saya tidak tahu secara pasti, saya hanya membaca dari berita2, sedikit banyak saya kira ada lah beliau mengambil keuntungan untuk diri sendiri, but saya memikirkannya dari sisi positif. Untuk korupsi dan kolusi memang adalah perbuatan yang kurang tepat, tetapi nepotisme? I think it's very ok! Kalau memang beliau nepotisme terhadap orang yang tepat kenapa ngga? Kalau negara bisa mendapatkan yg
terbaik juga, why not? Karena pemimpin membutuhkan orang yg bisa dipercaya untuk mengemban tugas2 yg diperintahkan.

Yang paling saya ingat ketika masa pemerintahan beliau negara kita cukup dikenal sebagai negara agraris dengan hasil pertanian yg cukup baik. So I guess program untuk para petani berjalan dengan baik pada saat itu. Coba bandingkan dengan sekarang, negara kita harus mengimpor segala macam bahan pokok, rakyat dan para petani terjerat dengan harga2 yg naik. Hey, padahal bukannya alam kita kaya, pengolahannya sangat bermasalah. Yang paling
menyedihkan adalah bahkan bahan untuk membuat Tempe, makanan nasional kita, aja mesti sampai diimpor dari amrik.

Tentunya apa yg dialami negara kita sedikit banyak ada pengaruh dari perubahan yg terjadi di seluruh dunia juga. Sebenarnya bukan hanya negara kita yg mengalami "reformasi", banyak negara lain juga sama masih mengalami pergolakan di perpolitikan negara mereka, ada jg negara lain yg ingin menghapus kkn pemimpinnya, ada juga negara yg ingin menjalani sistem
demokrasi. Sewaktu kita mengalami krismon, negara lain juga sama. Semua fenomena ini menurut saya tak terlepas dari efek "globalisasi" dan "rapid information". Hanya saja negara kita masih belum juga keluar dari segala krisis ini, sedangkan negara lain sudah jauh menanjak sejak lama, kita kurang banget dalam penanganan segala masalah!

Kembali ke berpulangnya beliau, menurut saya, media telah banyak menghasut rakyat untuk membenci beliau, menghasut semua org utk ikut berkokok. Bagi saya beliau tetap seorang ex-Presiden yg harus dikenang segala jasa2nya bagi negara. Saya menyukai kejawen beliau, falsafah2 jawa beliau, bahasa tempo doeloe beliau sewaktu pidato. Bagaimanapun kita bisa sampai pada hari ini juga karena bimbingan beliau selama ini, dari yg saya baca jg, beliau secara
jelas menegaskan untuk tidak berhubungan dgn RRC karena tidak ingin negara kita menganut paham komunis yang terasa banget di zaman Soekarno, beliau ingin menanamkan demokrasi di negara kita, mungkin akhirnya menjadi dictatorship beliau, ga tau deh, at least it is a step to democracy.

Anyways, saya tahu politik itu rumit (dan saya ga paham permainan dalamnya), jadi pemimpin itu emang ga mudah, so it's a process, semoga aja bisa muncul seseorang who would stand up and says he will do the best for the country.

Bagi keturunan Chinese zaman dulu sepertinya lumayan banyak image buruk tentang Soeharto karena menentang nama2 Chinese, Chinese school atau apa aja deh yg Chinese.. Yap I think it's a kind of severe discrimination towards us. Saya kurang bisa tolerate untuk masalah yg satu ini, saya jg pernah dengar cerita mama saya kalau dulu belajar bhs chinese itu mesti sembunyi2 dan buku2 disimpan di kotak kaleng. Well, but sekali lagi saya tidak merasa mengalami such a thing di zaman gw, jadi gw sendiri tidak bisa 100% menyalahkan. Saya bahkan merasa negara tetangga kita, malaysia, jauh lebih mendiskriminasi kaum chinese, walaupun chinese education is allowed there. Di satu sisi saya bersyukur, saya lebih bisa berbaur dalam Indonesia. Dalam hal ini saya bandingkan dengan teman2 malaysia saya di taiwan yg saya rasa mereka "chinese
banget" being a malaysian. I don't only go to school with chinese, but also indonesian, and I speak indonesian and also know the other dialects. Yah apa mau dikata saya pribadi emang lebih memilih indonesian ketimbang chinese, TANPA melupakan kechinesan gw dan tradisi2 chinese, saya hanya ingin hidup supaya kedua unsur budaya diri gw berbaur, i love them both. Kembali lagi opini setiap orang bisa aja berbeda, jadi ini hanya opini saya.

Kenyataannya seiring dengan Globalisasi, otomatis negara kita jg ikut membuka diri, sekarang segala edukasi chinese terbuka untuk umum. It's going on well. Pastinya semua ini ga terlepas juga sama perjuangan dari pendahulu2 generasi sekarang yg sudah bersusah payah memperjuangkan kesetaraan orang chinese di indonesia.

一切發生的很奇妙, 上班兩個小時了...我正想要去買巧克力, 發現我的錢包不在書包裡, 而且有一個拉鍊是開的, 我就懷疑是不是掉了, 心情很擔心了, 不過也有可能留在家裡因為早上我有換包包, 可能忘了放進去, 也有可能早上房東太太騎機車載我的時候掉, 很多可能在我腦海裡. 我還是安慰自己一定掉在家裡或家裡附近, 別想太多一定有的, 巧克力就不用買了, 午飯也先不用吃了.

結果五分鐘過後, 公司小姐打電話給我, 問我是不是錢包掉了, 很驚訝怎麼他會知道, 那一定是有人檢到了嗎? 真的, 一位伯伯送過來, 好開心喔, 東西都還在一枚都沒有缺, 很感激他, 想說我的證件全部都在裡面了, 後天要回去要用到, 印尼盾也放進去了, 全部都還在.謝謝我的恩人!!! 伯伯一定有好報.伯伯說我的錢包掉在路上, 還說他跑了一大圈送過來, 太感恩了!!!我真的太感激了遇到這種事有這麼好的人. 我收到我的錢包的時候真的很感動....真的很謝謝那位伯伯. 後來我走進去辦公室的時候才發現我好笨, 忘了問伯伯的名字也忘了看他是哪家公司的員工, 對我來說記住一個人的名字是一種尊重別人的行為, 而且他還是我的恩人, 我怎麼可以忘記呢!!!! 不過我一定會記住他的面貌的, 下次遇到他會在感謝他.

還好這一切很快就解決了, 從我發現錢包不在到錢包回到我手上. 謝謝謝謝謝謝....於

有時候想說自己必須住在遠離父母就算了

I think I've got used to my working environment somehow. I'm very grateful to
have a chance to work at this big company, although as an outsourcing. I'm
very honored to work with these great people, they're experienced, and they
worked hard, but have fun at the same time.

The employee here is working hard, but during break time there are usually a
lot of activities held by the welfare section. I really enjoy my time here. I
should learn the goods here.

I had just read one of Veerle's blog's article. The article is mainly stating the concern of the author about the graphic design keeping system in Belgium. He compares it with the graphic design keeping system in the neighbor country, Netherlands.

While reading this article I think about Indonesia. Everybody knows that Indonesia had been having a lot of fight with Malaysia about the culture infringement. I should say that actually Msyah's culture is so much like Indonesia's; that some parts of Indonesia culture is somehow a derivation from Malaysia; and currently there are so many Indonesian either migrating or work there. So our culture are so much mixed together, but some of them are actually quite obvious for belonged to whom. When Msyah took pieces of Indonesia to be patented, of course that will make us angry. But really to blame for is somehow ourselves, our government for being not care about our own. It's time now to identify all our identities, and protect them!

A Sleepy Day

Last night was the first night I stayed in my new rent in Hsinchu. Nice room, and comfortable, but the atmosphere here is colder, always windy. I slept too late that I was so sleepy all day long during work. Tomorrow on I must concentrate and do more things!

It's hard for me to move here. I love Taipei's convenience, Taipei's crowded atmosphere, and that most of my friends are in Taipei. Thanks there are Tlunk and Dido (and others), that make me more cheered up. I've just had supper w/ Tlunk. It made me less lonely. Thanks there is internet, too.

Tomorrow I'll go watch "3 Hari Untuk Selamanya". Uh.. so excited. Dress up!

I was so angry watching the video about Indonesian police asking bribe money from Canadian tourists on youtube. And it's hard for me to believe it happened in Bali! Can you imagine, how it throws away Indonesian reputation (I know it's already bad), even further.

I am considering buying a new bike so that I can ride it to Tlunk's house.. hehee.. This bike will be riden for pleasure only.

Public Election

The latest headline on the news interests me so much is the new chosen Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd. He defeated John Howard who had lost trust from most of Australian citizen of the policies he made, and who also made the bilateral connection of Aus-Ind worse in recent years. I hope this new Australian PM will make Aus-Ind connection better.

Some interesting things about Kevin Rudd and this latest election are:
1. Mr. Rudd can speak Chinese very well (nice.. Taiwan media reports that he had ever studied Chinese language at Shi Da, I guess this can benefit Taiwan to increase their bilateral relationship)
2. SBY is reported to be the first international President that made a call to congrat him, and Kevin also stated SBY as the president he thanked in his first success speech. And he is scheduled to visit Indonesia next month, and that will be his first visit overseas. (Wish this will make our relationship better)
3. Kevin's daughter in law is from Hong Kong. (I admire this so much.. haha.. what a multicultural family)

I think this election is established so efficiently. Although Australia hasn't been able to make it through online vote (like Estonia), BUT they can already have the election result in just 2 hrs after the election process ended. And I didn't hear any demonstrations or controversies happened during the election. And Australians (and hopefully the world) are satisfied with the result.

This news reminds me that I'm already eligible enough to cast my vote. I wish the next Indonesia election can establish in an efficient and effective way, too. I'm eager to participate in it!

Apart from the topic above, I'm really concern about the world (and economy) condition nowadays. I'm curious about if there will a big change/ big thing happens in this world, as America's economy getting weaker which imposes a lot to the world's economiy (esp. in Asia); China is getting stronger; India, Vietnam, and Phillipines comes out as the new celebrity country; Malaysia's big demonstration towards discrimination issues; Climate changes, natural disasters; M-community which largens the scale between the rich and the poor. Ah.. There are just many many more things that I concern.

I was quite busy for the last 2 weeks, and I can finally finish my project this Monday, and I'm so free then. So happy. My boss also seemed satisfied so far. So good. And I'm loving weekend, going out w/ ntuisa, esp. Hw and Jeff (we're a trio). We just go everywhere, especially go see exhibition. Nice days.

You won't see me complaining about moving to Hsincu anymore, I swear. I hate myself complaining, that's not me! Complaining makes my day worse. I started to change from about 2 days ago.

Btw this morning my entrance to TSMC is banned, because my "subscription day (don't know how to say it in English)" has expired. So, I had to call A Kuan to do some settings to my account to let me in, but then he reveals that the problem is actually because I had done a very slight mistake in the "工安課契約書"(kind of contract). *Sigh* I kept swearing about how strict this company is, how outsourcing is not appreciated, bla bla bla; until then I realize that there were another ppl facing problem just like me, it makes me feel accompanied, I tell myself it is okay, relax, and in fact standing outside awakened me more! I can see a lot of interesting things, and I can have sunshine!!!! I miss the sun!! I can see handsome young man, which is rare in my office. Haha... I can meet and greet every Coretech colleague. I was feeling very funny yet excited when I saw twins coming out from a car, I kept wondering how amazing this 2 twins still can work together.. they are totally similar!! So cute haha..

After that, A Kuan told me to go to Fab8 to sign a new contract. In my mind I was so excited, I can take bus and go around. *Yippie*

At noon, there are 3 NTU students coming here, so happy to meet them and get to know them. There are also a food bazaar in the TSMC restaurant. So great! Working is not that bad. Life is not that bad!

Ouch, I've been acting and thinking emotionally for quite a time! Escaping from things, and being lazy most of the time. I was browsing my friendster when I got to see Jo's profile and photo which shows how successful he's done with his dreams now. It makes me glad and proud, of him, but at the same time sad, of myself. He's one of my coursemate, who also have a great passion in language, we used to talked to each other in English, reading English articles, etc; and he'd done great, developing the skills in a good way, in debating esp. This also reminds me of Juliana, who still teaches herself with a lot of languages, or any kinds of interesting stuff. I am always saying I'm interested in it, too, but since I was graduated from high school, I lost my passion, nobody has the same interest with me, nobody can excite me, I become stagnant, I become slow. Who to blame? I myself. I shouldn't put off anymore.

Pengen mengeluh lagi. Kog rasanya hidup akhir2 ini ngga bisa memuaskan hatiku. Padahal aku udah tamat kuliah, udah dapet kost di tmpt yg ok, udah dapet kerja (still on trial) yg lumayan ok juga. Apa mungkin aku belum bisa menyesuaikan diri hidup di luar lingkungan sekolah? Rindu banget masa2 sekolah, kuliah, main ama temen, naik sepeda, belajar, buat peer, buat laporan, ah.. so interesting! Sekarang rasanya sepi banget. Bangun pagi utk pergi kerja, pulang kerja langsung tidur. I need some other activities!!

Kata orang gw beruntung udah dapet kerja dan juga udah dapet izin kerja, gaji standarlah (pas2an banget, dan gw masih bokek berat). Kemaren2 gw jg kepepet banget rasanya pengen kerja, terutama kalo bs dapet izin kerja. Tapi dengan pekerjaan yg sekarang, sebenarnya tidak terlalu memenuhi keinginanku. Pertama dari lokasi kerja yg di kota Hsinchu, pdhal gw pengennya cuman di Taipei (kalo kerja di Taiwan). Kedua dari jenis pekerjaan nulis program, yang bagi gw nggak berguna bgt, dan membuat mata gw rusak (uugh..).

Tapi yah sudahlah, aku nrimo aja, aku akan berusaha bagaimanapun, demi sesuap nasi, demi segenggam pengalaman. Paling gw cheer up diri gw sendiri, perusahaan tempat gw kerja skrg ok banget untuk pengalaman gw, atasan n partner yg lain hebat2 (profesor pada..), teman2 jg baik.

Sekarang gw lagi bingung apa gw sebaiknya pindah ke HsinCu ato tetep tinggal di Taipei. Konsekwensi tetap tinggal di Taipei yah tiap hari mesti pp HsinCu-Taipei, wasting transport fee, tapi hati gw senang. Kalo pindah ke HsinCu, hati gw bener2 ogah banget. Kebanyakan org sih saranin pindah aja biar gw ngga cape, tapi gw mikir gw bisa makin sedih ;(. Gimana yah?! Dan pengen banget ngga care ama that transport fee, but it's still an amount of money to pay.

Should I listen to myself or listen to others?

Gw masih tetep pembaca setia KoKi and some other blogs (firabas, etc..). Ngiri banget ama cerita jalan2 ke LN mereka. Kapan gw punya kesempatan......

Well, I keep blogging while working, coz I just need a place to spit out my mind. So lonely everyday, now I know what my other friends (who starts working earlier than I) feel. Living alone at a room, waking up early in the morning (I have to take a 2-hr-bus to work), working hard (especially that I'm still a newbie), going home late at night, going to sleep early; what a boring daily routine.

Maybe others would tell me to talk to my colleague, but... I don't have many chances as everybody got their own busy-ness, and that you don't want your manager to think that you're slacking. Hm, well then I can talk to them during the afternoon break? I don't really think so, because everybody just get tired and have to take a nap, and I myself, as well.

So far my job hasn't been that busy, just that I still got to learn lotsa things. Kinda boring sometimes, coz I keep reading stuff and get sleepy. Hoah.. To keep my mind fresh, I facebook, blog, and read articles. I can't check mail coz it's blocked by the firewall (Have I said that the information security here is absolutely strict).

I was shocked when I saw another accident last night on my bus journey back to Gongguan. That means I saw 2 accidents in one day, where the second one is even worse; a car turn around on the highway >_<. Beware of our own safety please~~!!

So happy it's Thursday today, which means one more working day left *yeah yeah yeah*. Will I hangout again w/ ccfamily? Hum... I want to do sth else... *thinking hard*, first of all buying present first. I'm thinking to take some (language/art) courses, just enrich myself... don't be lazy and wasting money.

下午有消防演習
還蠻好玩的哈哈
用消防器滅火的時候我的動作太慢了我都還沒開啟旁邊的人先幫我滅火了
我最喜歡用消防銓我的功夫還不賴我射的準最快過關的
令我很害怕的是走過黑暗又多煙的地方我完全看不到東西要用摸的走
我覺得有這種演習很有幫助

很不幸的上莫先生開的車
超討厭他的
臉臭屁像殺人犯總之我沒看過他的臉笑過
態度也超級無敵沒禮貌的
我叫了車感覺他很不想停下來似的
我還沒上完他就把門關上了還好沒被夾只是碰到一點點
我還沒坐下去他就開車了而且速度是飆的還我直接掉下去 #$!#$!#%^%$&#^&

有人問路的時候他回答的態度也超級差的 *pissed*
開車也用飆的還切來切去明明那麼多機車

還有有一位小姐說要下車他就直接開門讓她下而不事先靠邊況且車子還在路中間呢!
結果小姐下去叉一點被機車撞!! 真的就差0.001cm吧
騎機車的人還有那位小姐也嚇到幸好沒出事呢!!!
希望下次在我的是苗先生好了.....態度比較好, 安全也第一

Ga nyangka udah waktunya Lebaran. Berada di Taiwan sama sekali ga terasa suasana puasa maupun lebaran. Ah.. miss those times. Walaupun gw bukan penganut/pelaksananya tp sebagai rakyat Indonesia ikut merayakan :)

Ada kutipan menarik ttg bersyukur dari Koki yg gw suka bgt.

PADA zaman khalifah al-Manshur, salah seorang menterinya, Al-Ashma'i, melakukan perburuan. Karena keasyikan mengejar buruannya, ia terpisah dari kelompoknya. Ia tersesat dalam padang sahara.

Ketika rasa haus mencekamnya, dalam kejauhan ia melihat sebuah kemah. Terasing dan sendirian. Ia memacu kudanya ke arah sana dan menemukan penghuni yang memukau: perempuan muda dan jelita. Ia meminta air. Perempuan itu berkata, "Ada air sedikit, tetapi aku persiapkan hanya untuk suamiku. Ada sisa minumanku. Kalau engkau mau, ambillah."

Tiba-tiba wajah perempuan itu tampak siaga. Ia memandang kepulan debu dari kejauhan. "Suamiku datang," katanya. Wanita itu kemudian menyiapkan air minum dan kain pembersih.

Lelaki yang datang itu lebih mudah disebut bekas manusia. Seorang tua yang jelek dan menakutkan. Mulutnya tidak henti-hentinya menghardik istrinya. Tidak satu pun perkataan keluar dari mulut perempuan itu. Ia membersihkan kaki suaminya, menyerahkan minuman dengan khidmat, dam menuntunnya dengan mesra masuk ke kemahnya.

Sebelum pergi, Al-Ashma'i bertanya, "Engkau muda, cantik, dan setia. Kombinasi yang jarang sekali terjadi. Mengapa engkau korbankan dirimu untuk melayani lelaki tua yang berakhlak buruk."

Jawaban perempuan itu mengejutkan, "Rasulullah Muhammad SAW bersabda, agama itu terdiri dari dua bagian: syukur dan sabar. Aku bersyukur karena Tuhan telah menganugerahkan kepadaku kemudaan, kecantikan, dan perlindungan. Ia membimbingku untuk berakhlak baik. Aku telah melaksanakan setengah agamaku. Karena itu, aku ingin melengkapi agamaku dengan setengahnya lagi, yakni bersabar."

Boleh jadi kisah ini bias jender dilihat dari satu perspektif. Tetapi, kisah ini menunjukkan keputusan rohaniah ketika menetapkan pilihan, dari perspektif yang lain.

Ia memilih menyempurnakan agamanya dengan menambahkan sabar setelah syukur. Perasaan terima kasihnya kepada Tuhan membuatnya tabah menanggung derita apa pun. Kesabaran adalah buah dari perasaan syukur.

Konon di sebuah stasiun di Jepang dibangun monumen untuk seekor anjing. Pada suatu masa, anjing itu selalu mengantar tuannya berangkat kerja. Biasanya sore hari sampai larut malam anjing itu datang lagi ke stasiun, menunggu tuannya pulang.

Pada suatu musim dingin, kecelakaan merenggut nyawa tuannya. Ia tidak kembali. Tetapi, anjing itu menunggunya di stasiun seperti biasanya. Bergeming. Salju sudah menutup seluruh tubuhnya. Malam telah menjatuhkan tirai kegelapan.

Anjing itu tetap bertahan di situ, tidak pernah beranjak atau bergeser dari tempat duduknya. Matanya selalu memandang tajam pada setiap rombongan penumpang yang keluar dari kereta api. Ia mematung berhari-hari. Tidak makan tidak minum.

Sampai suatu pagi, giliran para penumpang kereta mematung di depan mayatnya yang sudah membeku. Mata mereka basah dengan air mata. Anjing itu bersabar, karena terima kasihnya pada tuannya. Monumen anjing di stasiun itu memberikan pelajaran kepada setiap orang. Ungkapkan syukur Anda dengan kesabaran. Para penumpang itu meneteskan air matanya bukan hanya karena kasihan. Mereka sedih, kenapa kesabaran seperti itu jarang ditemukan di kalangan manusia. Aku juga menangis, ketika menuliskan kisah ini. Mengapa aku tidak dapat bersabar dalam menaati Tuhan, setelah segala limpahan anugerah-Nya kepadaku.

Di pinggiran Kota Amman, ada sebuah gua yang tidak begitu terurus. Angin sahara sering menutup gua itu dengan debu. Di dalamnya ada relung yang diisi tulang belulang manusia suci dan tulang seekor anjing. Sebuah papan bertulisan ayat-ayat

Al Quran mengisahkan para pemuda Ashabul Kahfi, para penghuni gua, the Seven Sleepers.

Tujuh pembela kebenaran menyelamatkan akidahnya dengan berlindung di gua itu. Seekor anjing dengan setia menjaga mereka. Dan, kamu mengira mereka itu bangun, padahal mereka tidur; dan kami balik-balikkan mereka ke kanan dan kiri, sedang anjing mereka menjulurkan kedua lengannya di muka pintu gua. Dan, jika kamu menyaksikan mereka, tentulah kamu akan berpaling dari mereka dengan melarikan diri dan tentulah hati kamu akan ketakutan terhadap mereka (Al Quran, Surat Al Kahfi, Ayat 18).

Aku juga menangis mengingat anjing Ashhabul Kahfi ini. Menurut sahibul hikayat, para pemuda itu melemparkan sekerat roti kepadanya di pinggir jalan. Sebagai ungkapan rasa terima kasihnya, anjing itu menjaga mereka di mulut gua selama lebih dari tiga ratus tahun. Setiap saat Tuhan melimpahkan anugerah-Nya kepada kita, tetapi kita tidak sabar untuk menaatinya.

NABI Muhammad SAW beribadat hampir pada seluruh malam. Ia berdiri lama sekali sehingga telapak kakinya bengkak dan pecah-pecah. Para sahabat bertanya, mengapa ia harus beribadat seperti itu, bukankah Tuhan telah mengampuni dosa-dosanya. Ia menjawab, "Bukankah aku belum menjadi hamba yang bersyukur?"

Nabi yang mulia sudah mencapai tingkat syukur yang sangat tinggi, ketika ia merasa tidak mampu mensyukuri nikmat-Nya. Limpahan pemberian-Nya tidak terhitung sehingga ia tidak sanggup mensyukurinya dengan baik. Karena syukurnya itu, ia tidak merasakan kepedihan dan kecapaian dalam menaati-Nya.

Syeikh Muzaffer, sufi masa kini, berkata, "Jika ada orang memberimu topi baru yang mahal dan bagus, tidakkah kamu akan sangat berterima kasih kepadanya? Bukankah kamu lebih patut berterima kasih kepada Dia yang memberikan kepadamu kepala untuk meletakkan topimu itu?"

Rasa syukur yang mendalam bukan saja membuahkan kesabaran untuk menaati Tuhan, tetapi juga kesabaran untuk menerima musibah daripada-Nya. Sa'di, penyair Persia, dalam Gulistan, menceritakan pengalamannya ketika ia selesai shalat di Masjid Umayyah, Damaskus. Ia mendapatkan sepatunya hilang. Ia mencari ke sana ke mari dengan hati yang dongkol dan sedih.

Sa'di menggerutu terus-menerus, sampai di sudut masjid ia menemukan seorang penceramah di hadapan jamaahnya. Khatib itu selalu tersenyum. Wajahnya cerah gembira. Ia tampak menikmati hidupnya. Sangat kontras dengan wajah Sa'di, yang bermuram durja. Ketika Sa'di memperhatikan khatib itu lebih cermat, ia terkejut. Khatib itu sudah kehilangan kedua kakinya. Dale Carnegie pernah mengutip kisah ini dengan menyesuaikannya pada situasi modern. Ia mengatakan bahwa dalam hidup kita ini, hanya sedikit yang tidak beres. Ketika kita sakit gigi, mungkin gigi yang sakit itu satu biji saja. Gigi-gigi yang lain masih bagus. Atau jika seluruh gigi kita sakit, anggota tubuh kita yang lain masih sehat. Tetapi,kita menghabiskan waktu kita untuk memperhatikan gigi yang sakit itu dan melupakan anggota badan kita yang sehat.

Bersyukur adalah belajar memperhati-kan anugerah, yang sebetulnya jauh lebih banyak dan lebih bernilai ketimbang musibah. Bersyukur adalah memperhati-kan kepala kita daripada topi yang hilang, kaki kita daripada sepatu yang tiada, tangan kita daripada cincin yang luput, dan seluruh tubuh kita daripada kekayaan yang lenyap.

Kepada hamba-Nya, Tuhan berfirman, "Untuk hamba-Ku yang beriman, setiap kali aku menghilangkan sesuatu daripadanya, Aku menjadikannya kebaikan baginya. Maka, terimalah dengan rido ketentuan-Ku, bersabarlah atas ujian-Ku, dan bersyukurlah atas nikmat-Ku. Wahai Muhammad, Aku akan menuliskan hamba-Ku yang seperti itu dalam kelompok orang yang tulus imannya." (Kalimat Allah)

Dengan bersyukur, kita akan dapat menerima ketentuan-Nya dan bersabar atas ujian-Nya. Tuhan memberikan lebih banyak "ni'mat" ketimbang "niqma". Tuhan juga memerintahkan kita untuk selalu menghitung nikmat-Nya. Ketika ada konflik keluarga, seringkali setiap orang mengungkit-ungkit kejelekan pihak yang lain, dan melupakan kebaikannya; memusatkan perhatian pada niqmat dan mengabaikan ni'mat. Karena itulah, ketika Allah menjelaskan hukum perceraian, Dia berpesan, "Janganlah kalian melupakan kelebihan (kebaikan) di antara kalian. (Al Quran, Surat Al Baqarah, Ayat 237).

Bersyukur adalah menekankan kebaikan satu sama lain. Boleh jadi seorang suami sudah berbuat salah. Tetapi, bukankah ia sudah banyak memberikan kebaikan kepadamu. Bukankah ia hanya berbuat salah itu sekarang, dan puluhan tahun sebelumnya ia berkhidmat kepadamu. Dengan bersyukur, kita akan memaafkan orang lain yang menyakiti hati kita; karena kita tahu, banyak kenyamanan dalam hidup ini kita nikmati berkat jasa orang lain. Boleh jadi ada keluarga kita, tetangga kita, kawan-kawan kita yang berbuat buruk kepada kita dengan satu perbuatan. Jangan lupa, ada banyak perbuatan mereka yang lain, yang menyenangkan kita. Marilah kita belajar dari perempuan penghuni sahara, yakni melengkapi syukur kita dengan kesabaran.

Walhasil, bersyukur akan menyebabkan kita sabar dalam menaati Tuhan, sabar dalam menghadapi musibah, dan sabar dalam memaafkan orang lain. Bukankah itu yang sangat kita butuhkan pada hari-hari ini, dalam situasi Idul Fitri. Itulah sebabnya, setelah Allah menjelaskan hukum-hukum puasa, Ia mengakhirinya dengan, "... dan hendaklah kalian menyempurnakan bilangan puasa kalian, mengagungkan Allah atas petunjuk-Nya pada kalian, supaya kalian bersyukur." (Al Quran, Surat Al Baqarah, Ayat 185).

I have to learn about semiconductor manufacturing for the basic knowledge of my future computer program. I 'll be writing APC simulator version 2.0 for my division. I feel quite interested in this manufacturing topic THIS FAR. I finally realize why EE's students are preferable by semiconductor companies, even if they're hired to write computer programs; they simply have better knowledge /sense in this field so that they can start faster, not like me who should learned some basics first.

I've been working in tsmc for 2 days. I really like it here, more crowded, and the colleagues are amazing persons. The environment is good and motivating. I'd like to work here again someday, as the real employee, not outsourcing, and hope not as a programmer anymore. I've already known some friends here; the receptionist who cheers up my day, my manager who will assist me, Mor who is also outsourcing like me, 2 doctors who will be my primary partners several months later, rockman who is also indonesian, hui-zhe who will take care of me on behalf of coretech.

今天是我第三天上班
一切還很順利也可說非常順利

只是我還戒不掉那個想法
還要多久讓我那麼懊惱
我的心還不能安定下來
一值煩惱著不該煩惱的事
只是我想太多

工作方面可以說非常順利
自從拜五一切發生的很順很迅速

今天上班穿的很正式因為要去台積電面試
早上范姜帶我去見台積電的人了 (感覺好像要拿我去賣)
之後我應該會去那上班了
我將會加入研發部門
據說很多doctor們
很期待
他們也說希望找對數學有興趣的人
我想我很適合了... 終於又要碰數學了...

工作證也下來了
實在是太快了連所有公司人老闆人事部主管都嚇到
明天要做體檢
可能後天就去香港了 yeah... 我要去玩...

今天第一天上班
還不算正式的還在training期間
今天心情不太好　沒胃口
而且好像快發燒了　還好我有帶外套
還沒辦法適應環境一直懷舊這樣對我也不好咳..
一直想很多
公司的人其實都很好願意幫助
行政部蠻多女生
女的主管人很熱心
人事部也是

今天有五個新人
其中一個也是印尼僑生叫做jipong
我知道他...很面熟.. malang人, 也就是emon他們的朋友

早上五點半起來，搭六點十五的車
七點離開公司　九點到台北
明天後天大後天每天我都會過這樣的生活

文件說的對　當我沒工作一直說要找工作賺錢
可是卻找到工作之後又沒心情　不好好珍惜
生在福中不知福。。。
恩。。我會好好珍惜
只是　目前　很多事情讓我還無法放下　心無法安定
我總是這樣

我想我已經夠幸福了

I've just watched Miami's Ink on travel and living channel. It makes me want to have a tattoo >__< I want to carve a small '佛' letter on my shoulder. But I guess my family would be strongly against this idea..uu... just like my sister's reaction when I asked her just now.

Okay okay.. maybe this is just a moment heat, just because I've watched the programme. Let's wait and see if I'll still interested in it several days later.

When I watched the programme, I kept considering what the tattoo would become when its owner becomes old and his skin is wrinkled?? Will it stay artful or will it look very bad? Hmm.. I just think it's cool and precious to have a tattoo on your body to show the meaning of something important to you.

The one we used to love becomes the one we are stressful about; our child-era hero becomes our safety threat; there's no trust anymore. We never intend to be like that but the attitude makes us feel that way.

I really hate why appears at this time, blow my concentrations all away, SHIT. I'm really worried about my family, my mother, and my sister. I would do anything to protect. Good that my dad is dependable, I believe that he can always give the best solution.

I'm so angry.. I have to hunt for job, at the same time I'm so worried about my family, just because of.. But all does is just asking from us. DAMN. Makes my storage way below my prediction, I should've been independent.

I could just pray for the condition to turn better. At least don't make her worry anymore. She deserves a peaceful life, after served lots of outcomes he caused.

It's a new month again, 2 months have passed from my graduation. I still haven't got a permanent job. Really miss out from my prediction before. I'm still enjoying jobless but fun and stressful days.

I've signed a 3 months contract for a room at ShiDa. Very near from the night market :), although the rent is priceless :(.

Taipei-Tamshui
Today I had a bike ride from Taipei-Tamshui-Taipei with Chinho and Yinshun. Real fun and relaxing, thanks the weather is good.

4 years in Taiwan passed so quickly. I have traveled to several places, but there are 3 places that I love most.

1. Kinmen
This is my most favorite place. It impressed me the most. I especially like the ancient buildings; so meaningful, artistic, traditional, cool, cultural, original. The knife art (made from remnants of bomb) and the garbage art are absolutely excellent to visit. The food is also not bad. Ah, we can also see China mainland through telescope, experience the war moments, war remnants. I certainly would go there once more. I'd like to go to little Kinmen and the island opposite of it (i watch a tv programme and they seemed interesting).

2. 9 Pieces aka Jiu Fen
This place is well known for its old street. Along this road street are a lot of food and souvenir stalls. Pearl sago and fishball are the characteristic food here. We can also walk up a mountain, from the top of the mountain we can get a very nice surrounding view, and the teapot rock.

3. Taipei
Taipei is simply convenient and everything is here. Lots of night markets, full of spirit.

Setelah membaca artikel yg ditulis bung Harry Lukman di Koki-nya Kompas (link), saya makin jelas untuk menyatakan bahwa "gw org Indonesia, titik".

Seiring gw pindah ke LN (Taiwan), mulailah saya sering ditanya orang mana. Biasanya bakal jawab Chinese Indonesian. Setelah itu mesti menjelaskan panjang lebar kalo gw Indonesian, tp org Chinese bla bla bla, sampe ke cerita nenek moyang. Duh, ingin rasanya yah ga usah lagi menjelaskan kalo gw tuh keturunan Chinese, wong bisa liat lah dari warna kulit bentuk mata gw. Yang penting gw yah dari Indonesia.

Suddenly i feel like going out of Taiwan again.
Being here for 4 years doesn't make me like it here.
It's uncomfortable here. (for me)
Do I really want to stay here for another half year.
I'm really against my heart.
And I still prefer Indonesian or English.
I still prefer originality that I don't feel here.
